The contest page is finally live, though the most important part (the prizes!) are still being lined up. I’m working with our sponsor to nail down exactly what those prizes will be. As soon as I know, you’ll know.
Just posted a new video giving a walkthrough of Face Race for iPhone. Not much more to say, go have a look!
We made it into the App Store, just in time for Christmas!
Get Face Race here (iTunes link)
Got a Christmas party still to go to? Bring it along and use the “Christmas” setting. Good times!
And Merry Christmas, everyone!
In a year with a lot of news about massive layoffs and several game developers closing their doors, Canadian Game Development numbers are going up. Click here to continue…
Face Race has reached 1.0 and was submitted to the Apple review team yesterday afternoon. We’re not sure if it’s possible for it to be approved before Christmas, but we can hope, right? Stay tuned…
We’ve finished adding all the new graphics to Face Race, and are ready to show them here. It really has come a long way, as you’ll see with these before & after shots. Let us know what you think, and how we could make it even better! We’ve also posted these screenshots on ConceptFeedback.com, and we’re already starting to get some great feedback.
We’re finishing off the last few minor tweaks on the game, and will be submitting in the next few days. We’re very excited! Click here to continue…
Our new Facebook page has our latest video and a whole bunch of sample Face Race photos that were taken in-game.
I’ll get the video up on YouTube soon enough. I’m eyes-deep in rebuilding the entire UI for Face Race right now. Will post some screenshots soon! I’m really happy with the new logo…
Feel like supporting a fellow-Canadian indie iPhone developer? Feel like playing a fun iPhone game?

…or, on your chest. Our first t-shirt design is now being printed:

We’re going to use them as give-aways for now (coming to the Demo Camp on Tuesday…?), but if there happened to be demand, we could certainly make more.
The upcoming Demo Camp by New Media Manitoba will feature We Heart Games and Face Race, along with Complex Games (Wii Curl), Nightshift Interactive (FlipiT) and Firedance Games (Salvation Prophecy).
Join us on November 24th, 2009 at the Eat Bistro on 274 Garry Street, Winnipeg, MB. It starts at 6pm upstairs.
